Dynamic Image Engine (DIE)

VZAP implements a custom-built Dynamic Image Engine, a software tool designed to simultaneously stream hundreds of high-resolution digital images to an interactive “image wall”. To facilitate the rapid streaming of so many high-resolution images, we have implemented a custom compression technology that reduces the file size of our raw image data without compromising image quality or dimension. The Dynamic Image Engine automatically re-renders each image when it is uploaded to the database and archives the original raw image file. The engine also incorporates an intuitive interface for retrieving metadata, additional images, files, and other information stored in our relational database.
